Overview of Company History

ProMinent Fluid Controls, Inc. ("PFC"), also known as ProMinent Dosiertechnik, was started by Mr. Viktor Dulger in 1960. The Company is headquartered in Heidelberg, Germany, with subsidiaries located worldwide.  ProMinent Fluid Controls was located in Florida in 1977 and became incorporated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1978.
                
Our major activity is the manufacturing and sales of chemical feed equipment for liquids and various instrumentation to control these devices.  Our pumps are electronically driven either by solenoid action or electric motors.  This equipment is primarily used to dispense additives in the manufacturing processes of many types of materials.  Among the primary users are municipal water and waste water treatment facilities, pulp and paper manufacturers and the petrochemical industry.  We private label and sell to OEM's and through distributors.  We have technical, sales, service, marketing, human resources, and production departments.
