The medium-sized metering technology manufacturer is one of the most innovative companies in Germany
Heidelberg, February 2023 - ProMinent GmbH from Heidelberg has convinced with its innovative qualities and therefore received the TOP 100 seal for the year 2023. Only particularly innovative medium-sized companies in Germany receive this award. The award ceremony with Ranga Yogeshwar, mentor of the TOP 100, will take place in Augsburg on 23 June.
The ProMinent Group is a manufacturer of components and systems for water treatment. "We are very proud to have been recognised as one of the most innovative companies in Germany in 2023," says a delighted Andreas Zühlcke, Vice President Product Management & Marketing. "We develop and produce our high-quality products ourselves. Pioneering spirit and enthusiasm for water treatment technologies have always been our driving force."
A current example is the development of a new system for completely digital fluid management. All the required products, from the pump to the measurement and control technology to the mobile app, are coordinated and networked with each other as an overall solution. Plant operators in water and wastewater technology, chemical dealers and service providers in the field of disinfection can monitor, operate and supply any number of locations with pump installations remotely in real time via the DULCONNEX cloud platform.
The TOP 100 competition is based on a scientific selection process. On behalf of compamedia, the organiser of the comparison, innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and his team examined ProMinent on the basis of more than 100 criteria from five categories: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organisation, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success.
Of particular importance is whether a company's innovations are just a product of chance or are systematically planned and thus repeatable in the future. In essence, the question is what status innovations have in the company and whether it is capable of questioning the existing, thinking creatively and anew and successfully implementing them on the market.
