The UV system DULCODES LP TL for syrup disinfection declares war on heat-resistant germs. In instances when standard heat pasteurisation isn't up to the job, UV light provides a very quick and efficient form of disinfection without the need for heat.

Efficient UV disinfection of sugar syrup

The UV system DULCODES LP TL can disinfect up to 36 m3/h of sugar syrup. The system uses an optimised flow with mixing zones in the thin-film reactors for optimum radiation of liquids. When working with viscous media with a low UV transmission of up to 20 %/cm in particular, UV disinfection saves energy and costs and can replace pasteurisation. Up to 99.99 % of heat-resistant spores can be eliminated which typically cannot be achieved by pasteurization. UV treatment with the DULCODES LP TL system has no negative impact on the quality, taste or appearance of the sugar syrup.
