The study furniture of Felix Wankel, the inventor of the Wankel rotary engine, will be retained as cultural inheritance in the science centre Heidelberg.

Heidelberg, June 2025 The Viktor & Sigrid Dulger Foundation has once again awarded its prestigious Ecology Prize this year. The award, endowed with 10,000 euros, went to Dr. Gan Huang from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), who is setting new standards for energy-efficient construction with an innovative material development.

A look back at the events and commitments associated with Prof. Dr. h. c. Viktor Dulger (*18.12.1935; † 21.03.2016), the founder of ProMinent GmbH and former chairman of the supervisory board.

The Viktor and Sigrid Dulger Foundation's 2024 Environmental Award goes to two outstanding young female scientists: Geographer Dr. Dagmar Brombierstäudl from the South Asia Institute and public health specialist Dr. Patricia Nayna Schwerdtle from the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health.Both share the 10,000 euro prize for their excellent research achievements with high relevance for environmental research.

Since the foundation of the German Centre for Music Therapy Research (DZM) in 1995, the institute has been very much promoted by the entrepreneur family Dulger. Since the year 2000, the research institute bears the name of the ProMinent founder and is now called “Viktor Dulger Institute”.

The Gründerpreis of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe Baden-Württemberg, a business start-up award, was set up 14 years ago, and for the past eight years it has also been presented to an individual in recognition of their life's work. In 2011 the award was presented to Heidelberg entrepreneur Prof. Dr. h.c. Viktor Dulger (*18.12.1935; † 21.03.2016), founder and chairperson of ProMinent GmbH.

Sarah Köhler - the freestyle star. The young swimmer from Heidelberg is continually setting new records in what she does best. Her ambition and determination are impressive. She has already won gold and silver at the European Championships. Her next major goal is the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

On 25 April 2009, Dr. h.c. Viktor Dulger was presented with the Medal of Merit of the State of Baden-Württemberg by Premier Günther Oettinger.

On 26 March 2013, at the company headquarters of ProMinent Dosiertechnik GmbH in Heidelberg, Prof. Dr. h.c. Viktor Dulger presented the keys of a compact car to Barbara Zapf, the director of home help service Heidelberger Hauspflege gemeinnützige GmbH.

A new work of art now graces the roundabout on the bypass in the Wieblingen district of Heidelberg. The sculpture, entitled “Infinity Curve”, a work by the internationally renowned artist Chen Wenqin, was funded by Heidelberg-based ProMinent to mark the company’s fiftieth anniversary.

"Who will, if we don't?" In keeping with this principle, leading companies from the Rhine-Neckar region have joined forces with Anpfiff ins Leben e.V. to launch the "Aufstiegshelfer-Initiative", the only one of its kind in Germany.

ProMinent combined the 2014 World Cup with charity through a prize draw and an associated good cause.

In line with the philosophy the deceased company founder and honorary senator Prof. Dr. h.c. Viktor Dulger, young people are rewarded for their outstanding working and achievements in the natural sciences.

"Heidelberg hilft!" is a campaign run by Heidelberg's Service Clubs and the city of Heidelberg under the patronage of the mayor Dr. Würzner. It supports unaccompanied refugee children and young adults in Heidelberg who came to Germany without their parents.
